Crow House
Henry Varnum Poor (1887-1970) was somewhat of a renaissance man in the art world mastering the areas of painting, sculpture, architecture, and even pottery. These are a few images of Crow House in New City, NY that he built for himself starting in 1920 and finishing in 1949. All of the materials used in the house, wood, stone, etc., were harvested from the land it is built on. An amazing example of craftsmanship and self sufficiency.
